Description
Most UK batteries end up in the coldest corner of the property, so a module that carries its own heating element removes a familiar seasonal complaint before it starts. For the installer that is one less caveat on the handover sheet and one less winter callback in the diary. The EP5 sits in Fox's EP series, which parallels through a dedicated junction box, so a cold-location design can still grow past a single module. The Fox junction box for EP series batteries parallels up to four EP units, so the EP5 can share a system with further modules from the same series, including the larger EP6. On the inverter side, stay inside the Fox single-phase hybrid family, such as the H1 models, and confirm the exact match on Fox ESS's current pairing list for your firmware.
