Description
Gen 3 is the latest of the low-voltage battery generations, so it is the pack to specify on new work rather than the older Gen 2 stock. At 9.5kWh it hits the common domestic sweet spot, and where a customer wants more you add a second pack rather than change the design. It pairs with the standard single-phase hybrid inverters instead of the high-voltage lines. On the inverter side it sits under GivEnergy low-voltage single-phase hybrids such as the 3.6 kW and 5 kW units, with the GivEnergy Data Collector dongle added for remote monitoring. To grow capacity, add a second 9.5kWh Gen 3 pack rather than mixing generations. The refurbished Gen 2 9.5 kWh (GIV-REFURB-9.5KWH-GEN2) is a sibling but an earlier generation. Supported pack counts follow inverter model and firmware, so confirm against GivEnergy's current low-voltage pairing list.
Single-phase only. This is a low-voltage pack for the standard hybrid line, not a high-voltage module, and mixing it with older-generation packs in one stack is not advised. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.
