Solis S5 12kW three-phase inverter

The Solis S5 GR3P 12K is the 12 kW step in the three-phase S5 line. Reach for it when the array outgrows a 10 kW design but a 15 kW unit is more inverter than the roof can feed.

Description

Sizing the inverter to the array rather than the other way round is what this model is for. The S5 GR3P range in our listings runs from 5 kW to 15 kW, and 12 kW is the slot between the two most common commercial picks, sized for roofs that have outgrown the 10 without justifying the 15. Because it shares the platform, moving a quote up or down a size changes almost nothing else in the design pack. Dual MPPT covers split arrays and the with-DC build includes isolation at the unit. The page shows the ex-VAT trade price, fixed at any quantity.

What it pairs with

Monitor it through the Solis S5 Wi-Fi data logger in the 4-pin fitting, or go cellular with the S1 Wi-Fi plus 4G stick where the site network is poor. For export-limited connections, pair the EPM3-5G-PRO Export Power Manager with a three-phase meter from our Solis listings, such as the Acrel inline meter. Confirm exact fitment on Solis's current pairing documentation for your unit revision.

Needs a three-phase supply, so confirm the incoming service before quoting. String design works around two MPPT inputs. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.

FAQ

Solis SOL-S5-GR3P-12K-DC buying questions

It is the trade price printed on this page, ex VAT, with VAT at 20% added when we invoice. The figure does not change with order size: one inverter or ten are priced identically per unit, and no minimum order applies. What is on the page is what you pay.
By parcel courier: no dangerous-goods handling applies to an inverter, so it moves through the standard network. Delivery in 3–5 working days (estimate). The dispatch clock starts at cleared payment. Ship to the office or straight to site, whichever suits the programme.
6 in stock at the last catalogue update, and the count on this page comes from the live stock feed rather than a manual list. In stock means in stock; if the number reads zero, the trade desk can tell you the restock position for this part number.
UK trade buyers with a verified account: limited companies verify with a Companies House number, sole traders with a UTR, MCS or scheme number. No trade minimums — one unit at trade price, no annual-spend tiers.
