Solis S6 2.5kW dual-MPPT inverter

The S6 2.5kW dual tracker answers the awkward small roof: two orientations, a dormer split, or shading down one side. Two MPPTs at 2.5 kW let each string work independently instead of forcing the whole array onto one tracker.

Description

Small roofs are rarely tidy, and a single-tracker inverter makes an untidy roof expensive: mismatch on one string drags down the lot. Splitting east and west, or clear and shaded, across two MPPTs keeps each side earning what it can. That is the whole case for choosing this over the Mini at the same rating, and it is a strong one on terraced and cottage work. The DC isolator ships with it, and the S6 commissioning routine is unchanged, so the extra tracker costs nothing in site time.

What it pairs with

The dual-tracker S6 line continues upward through the 3 kW (SOL-3.0-S6-DT-DC) and 3.6 kW (SOL-3.6-S6-DT-DC) sizes when a survey grows. On accessories, add a Solis logging stick, 4-pin or USB fitting confirmed on Solis's pairing list, and the 100A current transformer for the 4G, 5G and S6 range (SOL-CT-100A-10M) for export sensing.

Single-phase only. Rated at 2.5 kW across its two trackers. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.

Solis SOL-2.5-S6-DT-DC buying questions

The ex-VAT trade price is shown on the page and VAT at 20% is added when we invoice. There are no quantity breaks because there is nothing to break: one price at any volume, no minimum order, the same terms for every verified trade account.
It is a courier parcel rather than pallet freight, so nobody needs to wait on site for a kerbside drop. Delivery runs at 3–5 working days (estimate). The dispatch clock starts at cleared payment. Track the parcel and book the install once it lands.
20+ in stock at the last catalogue update, and the count on this page comes from the live stock feed rather than a manual list. In stock means in stock; if the number reads zero, the trade desk can tell you the restock position for this part number.
UK trade buyers with a verified account: limited companies verify with a Companies House number, sole traders with a UTR, MCS or scheme number. No trade minimums — one unit at trade price, no annual-spend tiers.
