Solis S6 4kW dual MPPT 1-phase inverter

The S6 4kW dual MPPT is the capacity step for single-phase jobs where 3.6kW would leave panels underused. It suits installers quoting bigger domestic arrays who already plan the DNO application as part of the job.

Description

The extra headroom over a 3.6kW unit matters on modern arrays, where panel counts have crept upward and clipping on a smaller inverter becomes measurable. Two trackers let the design use both roof faces properly rather than compromising the string plan around a smaller unit. It carries the same S6 platform familiarity as the rest of the single-phase line, so crews who know the 3.6kW will not need retraining. The DC isolator is included, and the trade price is flat at any order size.

What it pairs with

On export-limited connections, fit the Solis Export Power Manager 5 Gen - 1ph alongside; for metering, the Solis Meter 1ph Eastron with external CT. Add a Solis Data Logging Stick - Wi-Fi & LAN for monitoring, checking the 4-pin versus USB fitting against Solis's current pairing list for your unit's revision.

Single-phase only, rated 4.0 kW with two MPPTs; above 3.68 kW this needs G99 approval before install. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.

FAQ

Solis SOL-4.0-S6-DT-DC buying questions

The price you see on this page is the ex-VAT trade price, and it is the price you pay regardless of quantity; VAT at 20% appears on the invoice. There is no minimum order, no account tier and no volume threshold to hit before the rate applies.
A parcel courier handles this inverter; it is not a pallet item. Delivery is 3–5 working days (estimate). The dispatch clock starts at cleared payment. If the G99 process is still running, most buyers time the order so the unit lands as approval comes through.
20+ in stock at the last catalogue update, and the count on this page comes from the live stock feed rather than a manual list. In stock means in stock; if the number reads zero, the trade desk can tell you the restock position for this part number.
UK trade buyers with a verified account: limited companies verify with a Companies House number, sole traders with a UTR, MCS or scheme number. No trade minimums — one unit at trade price, no annual-spend tiers.
