Fox ESS LAN monitoring stick
The Fox LAN monitoring stick connects a Fox ESS inverter to the internet over an Ethernet cable rather than WiFi. It is the choice for plant rooms, commercial units and any building where the network is wired and the WiFi signal stops at the door.

Description
Wired beats wireless for anything you want to stay connected for years. On commercial installs the IT manager usually prefers a cabled device on the network anyway, and in domestic garages a short Ethernet run is often more dependable than pushing WiFi through two walls. Fitting the LAN stick at commissioning takes WiFi passwords and router swaps out of the support picture. Trade terms here are flat: the ex-VAT price on the page applies from one unit upwards, with no minimum order.

What it pairs with
On three-phase commercial work it sits naturally beside the Fox ESS T series inverters; on single-phase jobs it serves the F series (G3) PV inverters and H1 Gen 2 hybrids equally well. As with all Fox communication sticks, compatibility follows inverter model and firmware revision, so verify the combination on the current Fox ESS pairing list before you commit it to a specific unit.
It needs a live wired network point within cable reach of the inverter, and it is a communications part only: no generation, no storage. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.
