SolaX Pocket LAN 2.0 monitoring dongle
The Pocket LAN 2.0 is SolaX's plug-in wired network interface, connecting a SolaX inverter to online monitoring over a network cable rather than Wi-Fi. Spec it for installs where the inverter sits out of wireless reach, in a garage, loft or plant room, and a hardwired connection is the dependable choice.
Delivery in 3–5 working days (estimate). The dispatch clock starts at cleared payment.
Description
Wired monitoring is the low-callback option. Once the Pocket LAN 2.0 is plugged in and cabled to the router, the connection does not move when the customer changes their broadband password or swaps provider, which is the failure mode that generates most monitoring callbacks on wireless dongles. That makes it the sensible spec for garages, plant rooms and any position where you can get a cable in at first fix. It is a small line on the order, so add it when you buy the inverter rather than posting one out later.

What it pairs with
Fit it to SolaX single-phase inverters from the ranges listed here, such as the X1 Boost G4 PV inverters and the X1-FIT-G4-5.0 retrofit battery inverter, where the install plan calls for a cabled connection. The X1 Hybrid G4-V2 units are listed with Wi-Fi on board, so this dongle is the wired alternative for those sites. Dongle-to-inverter fit depends on inverter generation, so confirm against SolaX's current pairing list.
A communications accessory only, with no power or storage rating of its own, listed against single-phase equipment. It needs a physical cable run back to the network, so check the route before you spec it. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.
