Description
Standardising the monitoring part cuts errors at three points: ordering, van stock and commissioning. One part number means the office orders the right thing, the van carries one spare instead of four, and site time is not spent working out which stick fits. The no-SIM format matters to fleet operators because airtime stays on the company contract, visible and cancellable, rather than scattered across hardware.
