Description
Cold sites are routine in UK work, and the heating element is the reason this pack gets picked over a plain module. The EP12 also brings 11.52kWh in one unit, so a single-box design covers a load that would otherwise need several smaller modules and the labour that goes with them. The EP series is built to parallel: the Fox junction box (FE-JUNBOX-HV) connects up to four EP series batteries, and the EP5 and EP6 heated packs sit in the same series for smaller steps. Run the EP12 with a Fox ESS hybrid inverter, and because pairing and mixed-capacity stacking depend on model and firmware revision, confirm the combination against Fox's current pairing list before you commit the design.
