Fox K Series 8kW 1-phase hybrid inverter

The K Series is Fox's single-phase hybrid line for jobs that need more power than the H1 range offers, and this is the 8kW model. Spec it where a single-phase property carries a large array and the 5kW or 6kW class will not do.

Description

Fox's other single-phase hybrids top out at 6kW in the H1 range, which used to mean splitting a bigger domestic array across two units. An 8kW K Series solves that with one box and one commissioning visit. For the buyer, that is one line on the order, one wall bracket, and one point of failure fewer than a twin-inverter design. The K Series continues at 7kW below this model and at 9kW, 10kW and 10.5kW above it, so the same platform scales when the next job is bigger.

What it pairs with

On metering, the Fox ESS energy meter (CHNT DDSU666) and the single-phase wireless CT transmitter kit are the natural companions, with a Fox LAN or WLAN stick for monitoring. For storage, Fox's battery ranges are listed alongside; pairing between K Series revisions and specific packs is firmware-dependent, so verify against Fox ESS's current compatibility list before quoting.

Single-phase only, and above 3.68 kW this needs G99 approval before install. Batteries and metering are separate parts. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.
