Fox ESS GSM monitoring stick

Keep the Fox GSM monitoring stick in the van as the fallback communications option for Fox ESS inverters. When a site turns out to have no broadband and no wired network point, it gets the inverter reporting over the mobile network and the job signed off the same day.

Description

Every installer has arrived at a job where the promised internet connection does not exist. Rather than losing the commissioning visit, a mobile-network stick fitted from van stock gets monitoring live before you leave, and the WiFi option can always be swapped in later if the customer prefers. Because it is a stock line at a flat trade price, holding two or three on the shelf saves a return trip. Order it here in ones or in bulk; the ex-VAT price is identical either way.

What it pairs with

Pair it with the Fox ESS S series single-tracker inverters on smaller jobs, or the F series (G3) PV inverters and H1 Gen 2 hybrids on standard domestic work. Stick-to-inverter fit varies with model generation and firmware, so confirm against the current Fox ESS pairing list, and keep the LAN and WLAN sticks in mind for sites with a usable network.

It handles communications only, with no effect on generation or storage, and it needs mobile network signal at the inverter position to report. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.

FAQ

Fox ESS FE-GSM-STICK buying questions

You pay the ex-VAT trade price shown on this page, with VAT added at 20% on the invoice. There are no minimum order quantities and no volume tiers, so a single stick for one job is priced the same per unit as a batch bought for van stock.
It goes out by parcel courier; a monitoring stick carries no dangerous goods classification, so no pallet is involved. Delivery in 3–5 working days (estimate). The dispatch clock starts at cleared payment. As a standard parcel it needs no special handling at delivery.
5 in stock at the last catalogue update, and the count on this page comes from the live stock feed rather than a manual list. In stock means in stock; if the number reads zero, the trade desk can tell you the restock position for this part number.
UK trade buyers with a verified account: limited companies verify with a Companies House number, sole traders with a UTR, MCS or scheme number. No trade minimums — one unit at trade price, no annual-spend tiers.
