Polar external battery housing

When the batteries cannot go indoors, this is where they live: the Polar external housing is a weatherable enclosure that holds four Polar battery modules behind a security cover. It moves the storage stack outside without leaving the modules exposed.

Description

Four batteries fit inside, and the security cover keeps them shielded once the stack is built and closed up. That makes it the answer for installs where loft, garage or utility space has run out, or where the customer would rather keep the storage off the living wall entirely. It is a housing, so it supplies the enclosure and the cover, not the batteries or cabling. Ordering follows the trade pattern: the ex-VAT price on this page is your account rate, from UK stock, on any quantity.

What it pairs with

The housing is built around the Polar ESS line, so it pairs with Polar ESS batteries such as the Polar ESS 5.12 kWh battery, alongside a Polar ESS inverter like the Polar ESS 3.6 kW or 6 kW unit. Battery-to-battery cabling completes the internal run. Module fit and count depend on the Polar battery revision, so check the four-module layout against Polar's current Polar compatibility list before ordering.

Houses up to four modules; batteries, inverter and cabling are separate lines. Site the enclosure to the manufacturer's outdoor guidance. For anything this page can't settle, ask the trade desk before ordering or consult a competent installer.

FAQ

Polar ESS POLAR-HOUSING buying questions

You pay the ex-VAT trade price printed on this page, and we add VAT at twenty percent on the invoice. One housing for a single job or a batch for the store carries the same rate, since there are no minimum quantities and no spend thresholds that would earn a better price later.
The empty housing carries no battery cells, so it goes out by parcel courier rather than pallet freight. Delivery in 3–5 working days (estimate). The dispatch clock starts at cleared payment. Stock is held on consignment and not individually counted, so we confirm availability on enquiry before you commit the order.
Stock on request at the last catalogue update, and the count on this page comes from the live stock feed rather than a manual list. In stock means in stock; if the number reads zero, the trade desk can tell you the restock position for this part number.
UK trade buyers with a verified account: limited companies verify with a Companies House number, sole traders with a UTR, MCS or scheme number. No trade minimums — one unit at trade price, no annual-spend tiers.
